Let's Craft is dedicated to providing resources to foster education for both students and adults. Let's Craft works closely with both Open Access (OA-Arts) and The Museum of Urban Arts (MOUA) both 501c3 organizations to provide workshops, training and open gym time to those who need. In addition we have a scholarship fund for both our entrepreneur program as well as college scholarships to help bridge the divide for students in need.
Let's Craft plans on having quarterly give back days where we open our doors to the community at no cost. We will be asking for monetary donations from local business (no donation is too small) to purchase materials. One hundred present of the money donated will go towards materials for our Give Back Days. During these events we will have stations making items for organizations predetermined. For example we will be teaching volunteers how to use our laser engravers to cut leather into strips and how to braid the leather to make bracelets to give to recovering addicts to help remind them every time they look at the bracelet not to take a drink/do drugs. We will be making seatbelt covers to give to allergists and neurologists that say "I'm autistic", "I'm allergic to nuts", "I'm non verbal", "I'm diabetic" and so on to inform first responders in the event of a car accident to better assist them in the event of an emergency. These will be given to doctors free of charge to give their patients. We have a selection of different items that will be made for armed forces over seas, the homeless population, foster kids and so on. If you have an idea of something we can make for a particular population please contact us and we will do our best to assist. If you would like to make a donation please fill out the contact us button below and let us know how you would like to help (volunteer, monetary donation) in tFull Widthhe additional comments section.
